We are working to open a lesbian and queer safe space in Brussels city center
From the start our goal has for lesbians in Brussels to be more visible and to exist and take space. so our next step is to open a physical space in the center of Brussels.
A place to exist, rest, read, meet, and celebrate.
We have found a space in the city center.
It is full of promise.
It also very much needs work.
To open the doors, we need funding.
Not just a bar. it’s a living room for the community.
Lesbian spaces are rare. Madrona is not just a bar or a café. It is a community space. You are not just funding renovations. You are helping build a space that many of us have been missing for a long time. We have untile july to raise €45K to complete these works and make the space operational. Without this funding, the project cannot move forward. Help us make this possible before july 2026! We promise good vibes, good books, and very gay drinks

Installation of toilets/Electrical work to bring the space up to legal standards/Internet and basic infrastructure/Safety and compliance works required for public access.
